About
The Old Concordians Cricket Club has been playing cricket since 1981/82. After a hiatus for several seasons in the 90's, the reformed club started again in 1999/2000 and then moved into turf cricket in the 2003/04 season. The club currently has 3 teams in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association. Training is held at Concordia College every Wednesday from 5:30pm and matches are played on Saturday afternoons at the College oval, Winchester St Highgate (B3 and LO5 Grade) and at ‘Schmidt Oval’ for our LO6 Grade team in the South Parklands Park 21W.
The club is a progressive, family friendly and welcoming club, and we encourage other Old Collegians and friends to join the club.
The club is appreciative of the support of its sponsors, The Earl of Leicester Hotel - Parkside, Concordia College, Burnside Day Surgery, Revl, and TLS Technology.
The Earl of Leicester provides an area for social activities for players, after training and Saturday night after games.
Concordia College provides excellent playing and training facilities.
The club enjoys a social atmosphere with many special events, including the club's annual Quiz Night, end of season trip, family days, Christmas dinner and Club Presentation night held at the Leicester, golf days and other informal activities. The club is well organised by a group of dedicated volunteers, players and supporters. We are excited about the future and invite any potential players or sponsors to contact us.
